At the ending of this day and in the
darkness and silence of this night, I bring to mind the family and
friends
You have given me to treasure and I pray that You will give each of us,
in our different situations, a quite night and a perfect end.
In Your
mercy defend us from all
perils and dangers of this night, cover us with healing and forgiveness
that we may take our rest in peace. In peace we shall lie down and
sleep.
In the Lord we shall safely rest.
