Daily Prayers 

O Lord open my lips and help me to pray.

I praise you Almighty God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, origin of the Holy Spirit.
  • As I praise You: help me to Love You
  • As I love You: help me to Obey You
  • As I obey You: help me to Trust You
  • As I do all these grant me the Peace Of Christ Jesus and the Fruit of the Spirit
    •  Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you: but not as the world gives. Do not be troubled or afraid (John 14:27)

    These things I have spoken to you, that in me you shall have peace. In the world you will have tribulation: but be brave; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

    Confession.

    Almighty God, You have set out Your way in Your Son Jesus, I confess with shame my frequent failure to acknowledge Him, my slowness to learn of Him and my reluctance to follow Him.

    You have sent to me Your life giving Spirit. Through Him You have spoken and I have forgotten what You said. Through Him You have given me great blessings and I have failed to treasure them.

    Forgive me for wasting my time and misusing my gifts, excusing my wrong doing and evading responsibility. Forgive me that so little of Your love has reached others through me and I have so little concern for the wrongs and sufferings that I have seen others endure.

    Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your loving kindness: Blot out my sins.
    Wash me again in the joy of Your Holy Spirit.

    The Lord's Prayer

    Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
    Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done as it is in Heaven.
    Give us Today our daily bread
    and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
    Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
    For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever and ever. Amen

    This is the day that God has made; I shall rejoice and be glad in it. I dedicate this day to Him And pray for those whom I love: 

    Father protect us, Jesus inspire us, Holy Spirit empower us

    Keep us from sin, Deliver us from evil, Defend us with Your Angels, Use us as you will. Your Kingdom come and to You be the Glory. Amen

    God has blessed me today; I shall praise and thank the Lord, And pray for those whom I love, Committing my rest and theirs to His care

    Father protect us, Jesus forgive us all our sins, Holy Spirit refresh us in sleep

    Continue O Lord to Bless us, Deliver us from evil, And defend us with Your Holy Angels, In the name of Jesus. Amen

    Intercession
    To You Almighty God, through the Sacrifice of our dear Lord Jesus, I offer my prayers, that you might heal, bless, defend, deliver and inspire those I love as I remember them in turn  ...............................................

    Conclusion

    Now Lord Jesus, as You treasure each of us: Help us to treasure each other.....
    And as we treasure each other: Help us to treasure You above all. Amen.
